2021 Monitoring Notes
Species | # of plants remaining | Height of plants | Condition of Plants |
---|---|---|---|
Red-Osier Dogwood | 10 | Above Fence | Excellent / Thriving |
Cage Notes: monitored on July 14, 2021, by -jrrs. 10 ROD look great. No Elderberry noted. One very nice Downy Hawthorn on river side of playing. Probably need to cage it to prevent deer antler damage. Inside cage a 10 foot tall Spindle (Euonymus europaeus) tree. Not native, but not invasive, so we will keep it. Similar in many ways to Wahoo. Hazelnut | 2 | Above Fence | Excellent / Thriving |
Dwarf Honeysuckle | 4 | Below Fence | Good / Surviving |
Chokecherry | 1 | Fence Height | Good / Surviving |
Cage Notes: Monitored on 8/4/21 by MM & LM. The plants found in the cage do not match the 5 mapleleaf viburnum listed on the 2021 checklist nor do they match the earlier 2021 observation notes. It is a beautiful cage. Not certain what the problem is. The plant heights and conditions are approximations--they were not recorded. Date Entered: August 5, 2021 |
