| Cage Notes: monitored on July 7, 2021, but -jrrs. Originally planted in fall of 2017 by -jrrs, KK & AH out beyond what is now the newer second Tree Swallow nest box NE of the slough overlook, on N side of slough, and did this when slough was dried up that fall of 2017. Plants originally took well and survived well into 2018, but in the end KK was right, and -jrrs was wrong, the roots couldn't take the wet feet. Eventually they all expired sometime in 2019. Consider this a dead cage, one we will not replant or restock. It does not need to be monitored any longer. Date Entered: July 7, 2021 |
